Moe Bonakdar, President

Based on this culture and belief system, the company has been able to attract and maintain competent employees with the right synergy, chemistry, attitude and technical capabilities. Mr. Bonakdar has been Project Manager and Senior Environmental Engineer for the design, planning and construction of highway and rail projects. Richard Griffin, P.E

Mr. Griffin has demonstrated his ability to deliver results while managing and overseeing transportation projects for CDOT for over 35 years. His proactive management style will ensure responsive service within the agreed-upon budget. His project and program management experience includes transportation research, highway designs, geotechnical, air quality, noise and vibration, pavement, multi-modal planning, environmental studies, traffic control and monitoring, and transportation planning. He is currently managing the air quality and noise studies for the I-225 Light Rail EA, as well as the Hot Spot analysis for the DTC Boulevard and Orchard intersection. Mr. Griffin has a B.S. in Engineering Physics and M.S. in Physics.

Darrel Cornell, PhD

Dr. Cornell has expertise in Environmental Project Management with an emphasis on National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) Planning, air quality, noise and vibration, environmental impact mitigation, chemistry, geology, industrial hygiene, industrial waste evaluation, waste site cleanups/closeout, risk management, and safety. He was a Project Manager for T-REX where he oversaw staff assigned to water supply, sewage, drainage, power, communication, and traffic utility design. He also evaluated noise, vibration, and air pollution; recommended mitigating measures; negotiated and coordinated with Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment (CDPHE) regarding the placement, operation, and maintenance of monitoring instruments; resolved business and citizen environmental concerns; and provided weekly environmental updates to contractors and regulators. Dr. Cornell has a B.A. in Chemistry, M.S. in Chemistry, and Ph.D. in Civil Engineering.

D. Jean Tate, Ph.D.

Dr. Tate has more than 30 years of professional experience including technical oversight of multidisciplinary, ecological, threatened or endangered species, noxious weeds, and cultural resource programs; project management; uses of environmental data and document preparation that are responsive to NEPA (environmental assessments, environmental impact statements, and supporting studies) and to CERCLA/SARA/RCRA (ecorisk assessments). She has worked on past projects for CDOT, including CDOT's NEPA Manual and an avian research project, taught at a National Audubon Society adult ecology camp, State University of New York College at Cortland, and University of Colorado-Denver, and been the technical lead or among key staff on numerous interdisciplinary programs related to the environmental impacts of construction, repair, development, or ongoing field activities.
